Haircut on a Bike

When "Gangs Of New York" came out, Phil was in first year of University and got so pumped on the fashion styles of the time that he bought a number of trench coats at Salvation Armies in Ottawa. For some reason, it's hard for me to get the details right on this, in the winter Phil was riding his bike a lot while wearing these big green or blue trenchcoats. This was also a time when Phil had gotten into cutting his own hair. So, to get the most out of it, Phil did all of these things at the same time: riding a bike while wearing a trench coat while cutting his hair. there was also talk at the time of Phil playing guitar while riding his bike, but I don't think that happened. There was further talk about strapping a mic to his front, having it attach to a laptop in his backpack, and recording an album while riding the bike. That idea is still up for grabs.
